Scott La Rocca

Australian commercial lawyer with expertise in intellectual property

Based in Melbourne, Australia, I was admitted to the legal profession in 2007 and have extensive experience across a diverse range of practice areas with a particular focus on intellectual property.

I have managed trade marks practices, co-ordinated international intellectual property portfolios and advised on many intellectual property matters. This includes disputes and enforcement of rights pertaining to trade marks, copyright, domain names, business names and patents.

My experience in commercial matters also includes the niche area of promotional lotteries and offers, raffles and charitable fundraising, product labelling requirements, advertising and marketing law, trade practices considerations, drafting and reviewing a diverse array of agreements, and advising on privacy issues.

I have assisted with trial preparation, have attended the Federal Court of Australia with counsel, and am on the Register of Practitioners in the High Court of Australia.
